REPRESENTITIVE PROJECT:

As part of our involvement with the Broadstone project on Middlesex Turnpike in Billerica, RECON collaborated with the Construction Manager with specialized building envelope consulting services. This began with a thorough review and comment on design drawings and specifications, ensuring that materials and methods adhered to best practices for longevity and optimal performance. By closely examining the proposed building envelope solutions, we helped safeguard against potential flaws and established a solid foundation for the project’s construction phase.

During construction, RECON’s scope of work included oversight of water testing to confirm that all critical elements were performing as intended. By identifying potential areas of vulnerability, we were able to recommend corrective measures that enhanced the building’s resistance to water intrusion. This proactive approach not only minimized the risk of damage over time but also streamlined the construction process by addressing issues early on.

Additionally, RECON provided the Construction Manager with in-depth construction observation through Field Reports, documenting progress and alerting them to any deviations from the approved design. These reports offered clear, actionable insights into installation techniques, material compatibility, and overall quality control. By maintaining clear communication and focusing on collaboration throughout every project phase, we upheld the highest standards of building envelope integrity for the Broadstone development.
